State Street Global Advisors- Institutional Insurance Sales, Officer
State Street Global Advisors is seeking a dynamic Officer to join our Insurance Team. Within the Client Coverage Group (CCG), you will support the Managing Director, Head of US Insurance and team in excecuting the strategy to deepen our client relationships and expand our presence within the Insurance sector. The key objective of the role is to support Account Executives execution of the teams strategic priorities - grow our share of wallet with insurance companies and deepen our relationships with our impressive client base across our institutional product where applicable. You will help deepen our relationships with these clients by bringing the strength of the broader firm to support them with their investment priorities. This role will involve close collaboration with senior leadership, clients and internal stakeholders to drive growth in the insurance vertical and enhance client satisfaction. This role is key to driving success and efficiency across these strategic priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Strategy Execution - assist the Managing Director of Insurance and team in developing and refining the strategy for the Insurance Segment , ensuring alignment with SSGA's broader commercial objectives
• Cross Functinal Collaboration - Work collaboratively with other parts of State Street to leverage resources and drive holistic client solutions. Navigate complex organizational structures to achieve strategic objectives
• Data Driven Insights - Utilize data and analytics to optimize sales strategies and improve client experience. Monitor progress towards sales targets and help adjust targets when needed as progress is made.
• Partner with Account Executives and Relationship Managers on their respective client and prospect panels, prioritizing activity and pipeline development
• Help to drive client meeting prep and follow up materials
• Work across stakeholders to project manage new business presentations and RFPs where needed
• Ensure SalesForce accurately captures account information, pipeline, account and competitor intelligence, contact information
• Conduct research on accounts, including asset pools, consultants, custodians, asset allocation and incumbent managers
• Deliver timely reporting to stakeholders on progress, including activities, pipeline and target market
• Partner with team and other Officers/Analysts for idea generation, learning and enhancing processes
• Assist in the management of marketing campaigns, ensuring contact information is correct; and delivery to clients is impactful and efficient

• Partner closely with SSGA's Global Insurance Strategy Team to grow the insurance segment External Client Segment:
• Institutional client segment - Traders, PMs, analysts, due diligence teams etc.
• Participate in Industry events for business development and to raise the visibility of SSGA in the Insurance space
Education & Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
• Series 7 and 63 licenses required
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in investment management or insurance industry
• Strong understanding of insurance company needs across balance sheet and annuity platforms
• Proven track record of success in sales and client relationship management
• Experience in ETF sales & ecosystem, insurance sensitive products and fixed income preferred
• Experience as a strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities
• Investment industry designations such as CFA or CIMA are a plus
• Ability to learn quickly and demonstrate industry and product knowledge
• Ability to build relationships within our team, across our organization, and with our clients
• Strong ethics, a strong risk radar and dedicated to approach and resolve issues
